Who would have thought that you can have fans too while working behind the scenes at a tv station? Seriously though, I had a short cameo on studio 10 and the next thing I know people are recognizing me, weird! Usually, viewers see me on tv from behind, during studio bump shots. I couldn't believe it when there was a guest coming in for Studio 10, and I was in the news studio when one of the guests pass by the news studio and saw me from behind. She came over to me and said that she saw me on tv earlier that morning and that she recognized me from the back. Funny, I thought only football players can be recognized from the back, hahaha!!! Monday I guess was my tv cameo day. I got caught on the wide shot and I really didnt think nothing of it, then the director says "HI" to me on my headset, so I just waved I didn't think i would be seen on the wide shot. Well, one of my twitter friends twitted me saying "HI" to me and to told me that he saw me on tv waving. Next cameo of that day was during studio 10. Watch the clips instead of me trying to explain it http://wm.wtsp.gannett.edgestreams.net/studio10/201007/26/chat1.wmv After the noon show, I was in the lobby, when a couple of viewers came in to pick up movie tickets. The husband saw me and came over to me, pointed and said "I saw you on tv this morning and I saw you from the front." Another incident happened a few minutes earlier, where the Studio 10 EP, came by the lobby and saw me. He then told me that he got a call from a viewer about me. I was told that the viewer left like five minutes message just about the opening monologue of the show. She wanted to know how she can see that opening monologue again, if there's a way to freeze the part where I appeared. I think I'm accumulating fans even for that small short cameo appearance. I might have to make a cameo appearance even on wide shots more often, hahaha!!!
FYI though, the hosts said that it was my tv debut from the front, where viewers actually saw my face. It was actually my second time on tv where viewers can see my face. A couple of years ago, I made another cameo on studio 10 helping one of the hosts with something as he fix breakfast for his co-hosts.
