It's official Philippines have a new leader by the name of Aquino! Really? Surprise, not really! Now the VP is a different story, I guest you could say its a surprise win for Jojomar Binay. A lot of people are expecting Mar Roxas to win, who is Aquino's running mate. The only result that the country is waiting for is the name of the new Vice President. Another AQUINO at the palace, he is the second president of the Philippines with the last name Aquino. I am even more proud now of my last name than before.
Philippine people are awaiting what kind of new beginning he will bring to the country. I have a feeling that I'm going to hear the question that I first heard back in 1986 when former Pres. Cory Aquino was the leader - the question "Are you related to President Aquino?" or "Are you related to the President of the Philippines?" You could say I have to think about how I would answer this question, hahaha!!
