Do you remember where you were, what you were doing during the 9-11? I'm pretty sure you will never forget where you were when 9-11 happened. I remember I was still working at the medical lab, finishing up my last semester at SPC, on my second month of internship at Channel 10. I was at home at the time sleeping, when my home phone and cell phone starting ringing like crazy. I tried to ignore it and hoping that it will eventually stop ringing; yep no luck of that it was ringing continuously with probably 2-5 seconds of silence. I finally decided to get up, turn on the TV and that's how I found out about the planes hitting the twin towers and the pentagon. I was glued to the television, answering phone calls, reading emails, etc. My relatives were the ones trying to get a hold of me to see if i was able to contact relatives in New York and if they contacted me. i spent most of my morning returning phone calls and emails from relatives from the west coast to the Philippines. I went to work early afternoon, and since my co-workers know that I'm interning at a TV station, some were surprised to see and asking me if I went to the TV station. I told them that I'm just an intern and I'm not schedule till the weekend. Besides with all the craziness, I don't want to get in a way. Besides I still have a job to do processing people's blood work and doctors waiting for test results.
